41st National Conference of The Compassionate Friends Workshop
41st National Conference of The Compassionate Friends
Christine lost a pregnancy in 1985, her father in 2000, her mother in 2004 and her brother-in-law a priest in 2010. Eventually she began receiving comforting afterlife contacts from these members of her family too, although she is NOT a psychic or a medium.
While giving spiritual bereavement support starting in 1998, Christine was coming across many who were suffering a broken heart and who desperately longed to receive an afterlife sign to know that their loved ones were OK. In order to help those who longed to receive a personal afterlife sign, in September of 2000 she founded "Prayer Wave For After-Death Communication," (now a facebook group called (Afterdeath Communication and Prayer Wave), a unique worldwide Internet nondenominational grief support, spiritual, prayer group and website where the bereaved could come and ask for prayers to receive an afterlife sign; learn how to recognize afterlife signs; and share their stories in a safe and loving environment. Her prayer group then found themselves receiving an abundance of afterlife signs. Thousands of grievers have been helped over the years. Out of their stories came Christine's first book, God's Gift of Love: After-Death Communications which contains 123 stories of heavenly signs received from her group's loved ones. God's Gift of Love: After-Death Communications is listed in the Top 10 Best Bereavement Gift Books by Books To Believe In.
During Christine's research she eventually realized that children had a natural God-given ability to communicate with spirits, angels and Jesus. This inspired her second book, Heaven Talks To Children: Afterlife Contacts, Spiritual Gifts and Loving Messages. In order to help parents explain death and the afterlife to children, as well as to help children who are coping with grief, Christine wrote her third book, an illustrated one for children called, Grammy Visits From Heaven.

Christine Duminiak, was formerly in business as an Administrative Assistant to the President of an environmental firm for 14 years. However, in 1998 she was a busy stay-at-home mom and wife when her “DEAD” in-laws unexpectedly visited her in her bedroom and stayed for an hour.
Because her in-laws continued to make spiritual appearances, Christine, a devout Catholic, felt an overwhelming need to learn what these afterlife visits were all about. She thoroughly researched the field of after-death visitations and after years of personal spiritual experiences, as well as listening to thousands of others' spiritual experiences, has become a teacher and an authority on afterlife contacts. Christine eventually went on to become a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist and a Spiritual Bereavement Recovery Facilitator. She firmly believes that truly healing can only take place when you involve God.
Christine is also a Certified Reflexologist and a Certified Energy Healing Practitioner. Duminiak has volunteered her time and skills to hospice and cancer patients, for women in crisis pregnancies shelters, and for women transitioning from substance abuse shelters.
